Electric Charges

Electric Charges is the property associated with matter due to which it produces/experiences electric and magnetic effects. It is called quantisation of charge.

Charge are of two types -

(i) Positive Charge

(ii) Negative charge

Value of charge q = ne

Where, n = number of electrons loss or gain by the body

e = charge on one electron

Same charge repel each other and opposite charges attract each other.
